A Dose of Inspiration
âPerfection is boring. Getting better is where all the fun is.â
â Dragos Roua

Thereâs real joy in experimenting⊠in taking an idea from the page to practice and seeing what happens. When we think like scientists, we stop judging outcomes as âsuccessâ or âfailureâ and start asking, âWhat did we learn?â and answering, âHow fascinating!â
Every test, tweak, and try becomes part of the fun. Because whether it works or not, we win. We grow, we iterate, and we keep getting better together.

đ€ A Dose of Learning
The best leaders donât pretend to have all the answers⊠they stay curious, humble, and in motion.
Ryan Hawk calls this being a learning leader, someone who turns curiosity into continuous growth.
The goal isnât just to learn more, but to learn out loud in ways that elevate the people around you.
Like the PlanâDoâStudyâAct (PDSA) continuous improvement cycle many of you already know, the rhythm of learning leadership is simple:
- Consume. Be hungry in seeking insight. Read. Listen. Observe. Learn.
- Experiment. Try the idea in action⊠in small, imperfect ways.
- Reflect. Notice what worked, what didnât, and why.
- Teach. Share your learning. Clarity grows when ideas are spoken aloud â and ripples are created.
Then? Loop forward.
When leaders model this rhythm, learning becomes contagious. Curiosity turns into action and confidence. Reflection turns into results. And the culture itself starts to move⊠not because people were told to change, but because they were invited to grow.

đ±Â A Dose of Action
Pick one idea thatâs sparked something for you recently â from this newsletter, a conversation, or your own reflections.
Now, run it through the learning loop:
1ïžâŁ Consume â Revisit the insight.
2ïžâŁ Experiment â Try it out in a small, real way.
3ïžâŁ Reflect â Notice what happened.
4ïžâŁ Teach â Share what you learned.
Hereâs the fun part: it doesnât have to work to be worthwhile.
Each loop builds wisdom, courage, and momentum. Plus, itâs fun!
đ Reach out and tell me what you tried or what you learned in the process. Iâd love to hear about your experiment and celebrate your learning with you.
You got this. Letâs lead with belief.
In your corner,
